The festival brings its own mood to this coastal region as music resounds in concert halls, restaurants, museums and idyllic church buildings. The theme composers in 2005 will be Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, and our Hungarian guest composer József Sári. The principal Finnish composer will be Usko Meriläinen. We shall hear rare arrangements of well-known masterpieces by composers such as Beethoven and Schubert.
